Israel-Hamas war: Hundreds of al-Shifa patients could be deported

The deplorable circumstances at al-Shifa Hospital put hundreds of patients’ lives in jeopardy, the director general of Gaza’s hospitals has warned.
Israeli forces “are not evacuating people from hospitals; instead they are forcibly evicting the wounded onto the streets, leaving them to face inevitable death,” according to Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kaila.
Health officials report that Israel’s ground offensive has demolished the heart unit at Gaza City’s al-Shifa Hospital.
Since October 7, Israeli bombardment on Gaza have resulted in more than 11,100 Palestinian deaths. Following a downward correction, the number of deaths in Israel is currently above 1,200.

having a hysterectomy or losing the baby

Because there are not enough medical supplies or obstetricians in Gaza, doctors are having to perform hysterectomies on injured pregnant women in order to save their lives.

Jenin is seen by Israel as a third front: Official

Israel is attacking Jenin and its refugee camp on a daily basis, according to interim governor Kamal Abu al-Rub, making it a third front after Gaza and Lebanon.

He told Al Jazeera that “Israel is exacting revenge on Jenin through its successive raids on the city, its camp, and surrounding villages, the targeting of civilians and ambulance crews, the road closures, and the attacks on mosques.”

Residents fear that Israel’s army would launch a significant operation “in the coming days, given the world’s focus on the ongoing aggression in the Gaza Strip and the silence towards what’s happening there and in the West Bank,” according to Abu al-Rub.

Groups supporting Israel and the Palestinians clash in South Africa

In order to break up fights between pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian protestors in Cape Town, South African police used water cannons and stun grenades.

The ruling ANC party in South Africa has been a staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause for decades, and there have been weekly protests in the country’s major cities in favor of both sides.

However, the nation is also home to Sub-Saharan Africa’s largest Jewish community, some of whom have organized protests and vigils in favor of Israel.
